The Dharma of Buddha Maitreya is a book that every individual thirsting for knowledge should hurry to read. The title of the book already speaks for itself, as it is about knowledge about life. Dharma is the teaching of the Laws of Life and a Buddha is an individual who has been enlightened about the Meaning of Life. The Dharma of Buddha Maitreya then becomes the Enlightened One's Teaching of the Laws of Life.
The word philosophy means One who loves (philos) wisdom (sophos). A philosopher of life is One who loves to learn more about the Laws of Life (Dharma).
If there is any area that modern science has failed to understand and explain, it is "human consciousness and life". Anyone who wants to take the first steps towards increased understanding of these things would therefore be wise to turn to the sources of knowledge where individuals have successfully tackled solving these mysteries.
The Dharma of Buddha Maitreya's is a summary of the knowledge gathered by philosophers and Buddhists over the past millennia. If you are curious about life, you should read this book.
Anyone who reads the book increases his/hers understanding of life and themselves (their true self). If you also use the methods the book recommends, you take a big step on the path to increased self-discipline and presence of mind.
For me, Buddha's Maitreya's Dharma is:
• A simply written manual for man, that can guide him on the path of understanding.
• An explanation of the "self" and the purposes of the "self" through different civilizations and millennia.
• A source of knowledge that urges us to insight through action.
• A call to try a method that increases understanding to build a better world.
• A very good book.
